MONTROSE, CO (Oct. 5, 2018) – Jeff Keehfus had an eye on expansion when he and his Montrose Real Estate Group joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices early this year. Almost immediately, Keehfus opened a new office in Durango and next month will add a third location in Telluride. A Grand Junction office will follow early next year, Keehfus said, with a target of eight total offices over the next two to three years. 

With operations stretching far beyond their Montrose headquarters, Keehfus and his team renamed the brokerage to reflect its regional reach and influence. Starting today, the company is called Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Western Colorado Properties. 

“We love Montrose, our headquarters remains in Montrose, yet we needed a brokerage name that would speak for our entire enterprise,” said Keehfus. “We chose Western Colorado Properties as it encompasses our presence along the Western Slope. We also chose it because we think it’s a really cool name.”

Townsend Ave., Montrose. Guests will include Montrose city officials and members of the local chambers of commerce.
