Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Network Agents Honored in NAHREP Top 250 Latino Agents Report

Global Brokerage Franchise Network Represents Nearly a Quarter of the Report

Irvine, Calif., June 7, 2021 – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, one of the world’s fastest-growing residential real estate brokerage franchise networks, is proud to announce that the network represents nearly a quarter of the 2021 Top 250 Latinos Agents Report, released by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). The list recognizes agents across the United States whose hard work and dedication have led them to close an outstanding number of transactions in an effort to increase the rate of sustainable Hispanic homeownership. The Berkshire Hathaway Home Services global network represents just over 21 percent of the entire report, reinforcing network member’s dedication to Hispanic homeownership.

“Our network is fully committed to supporting and advocating for all diverse real estate professionals across the globe,” said Christy Budnick, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. “We are honored to have such an incredible presence on this year’s list, especially as Hispanic homeownership rates are increasing.”

This year’s report includes rankings of top individual agents by volume, top Latino teams and top agents by major market regions, representing over 4.66 billion in combined sales volume in 2020.

“Despite a global pandemic and an aggressive market, our network agents demonstrated perseverance and resistance,” said Gino Blefari, Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. “We will continue to celebrate the phenomenal work of this year’s top Latino agents and we thank them for their pride, passion and support in their respective communities.”

According to NAHREP's 2020 State of Hispanic Homeownership Report, the Latino homeownership rate increased in 2021 for the sixth consecutive year despite the health and economic challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The report also notes that housing inventory remains the main barrier to increasing Hispanic homeownership, and Latinos will ultimately lead the national homeownership rate for decades to come.
