About
I had the privilege of growing up on a small farm in Stokes County, NC. As the baby of the family, I received a great deal of love and attention from my family as well as from caring individuals in my community.
After graduating from South Stokes High School, where I participated in the music program and served as editor of the school newspaper and campus photographer, I was accepted into Wake Forest University and began my college career in January of 1984. Four years later, I proudly graduated from Wake Forest with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Religion. I am grateful to Wake Forest for providing half of the cost of my education in scholarships. I paid the tuition balance through hard work and numerous part-time jobs.
In 1988, I was blessed to meet my husband Nathan. We married in 1990 and soon after landed in Nathan’s hometown of Zebulon where I began my real estate career with the family business, Parrish Realty.
