This 276 acre Llewellyn Block timber tract is part of Coos County timberland portfolio of 11 tracts being offered in a November 12 Sealed Bid Auction. It is located four miles northeast of Myrtle Creek, with excellent access to Highway 42. It has 248 acres of productive forestland with 190 acres of well-stocked 26 year-old western hemlock, and 51 acres of 19 year-old Douglas-fir reproduction located in the southwest portion of Section 35. The irregular-shaped Tract has 51 acres of Site Class II, with balance Site Class III. Topography is a combination of moderate to steep north-, south-, and east-facing slopes, with an estimated 75% requiring cable logging.
