Warren Buffett’s global residential real estate brokerage franchise network Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has forayed into Indian property market by forming an alliance with brokerage firm Orenda.

The Indian entity will be known as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Orenda India. The firm will be servicing key property markets across India including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, and Ayodhya, the company said in a release.
Indian real estate sector, which has been attracting global institutional investors over the last few years, is estimated to reach $1 trillion by 2030 and is expected to contribute 13% to the country’s economy by 2025.
The firm will be servicing key property markets across India including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, and Ayodhya, the company said in a release.
