Our History
After 20 years in the Abilene real estate business, Steve Stovall opened Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stovall, REALTORS® as a different kind of real estate company. He founded it on teamwork, a shared mission and clear statement of values. Soon after our establishment in the summer of 2008 with a handful of experienced agents, the Broker and agents of another local company were added. We have continued to grow with new agents and fresh ideas ever since.
In August of 2011, we moved into a newly constructed, custom-built office located at 3382 S. 27th Street. In 2012 and 2015, readers of the Abilene Reporter News voted us as one of Abilene’s best real estate companies.
In the summer of 2019, we affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices to now become Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stovall, Realtors. Steve Stovall remains the owner of the brokerage, and the affiliation brings brand new tools to our agents, staff, and clients through Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices top-of-the-line technology and prestige in the Real Estate Industry.
We were also honored in 2012 by the Better Business Bureau of Abilene with a Torch Award for Business Ethics and Marketplace Trust. We are the only real estate company in Abilene to ever be nominated for this prestigious award.
The Small Business Administration awarded us with the Entrepreneurial Success Award in 2015.
Our agents are skilled and experienced with the support of a full-time relocation coordinator, and a marketing coordinator and professional photographer. We’re honored to be an innovative real estate leader, not only in Abilene, but also in Sweetwater, Breckenridge, Clyde, Tuscola and surrounding areas.
