What started out as a humble real estate agency in a small office with a used typewriter,  Broker/Owner Larry Hitz began his career helping people buy and sell homes by bringing with him a huge belief in community and relationships.

Helping people find the best solutions did more than just earn the best listings in Northwest Indiana, it helped build the Executive Group brand and established relationships with other brokers in Valparaiso, Chesterton, Crown Point, and surrounding communities. Like-minded agents from around Northwest Indiana wanted to join this fast growing agency. 

Joining Executive Group Real Estate was something a real estate agent could be proud of. It meant you were valued, professionally trained and part of a company that was respected by the community.

Executive Group became a destination for agents that shared his passion for real estate, community activism and helping people!

Word was out - and people from all over Northwest Indiana were attracted to the unique approach of the Executive Group. The agents from the Executive Group were known for listening closely to the unique needs of their clients. They would help guide them through the process of buying or selling a home. Over time, the Executive Group's reputation for earning favorable results for buyers and sellers grew...and soon Executive Group was loved by both customers and agents in Porter County, Lake County, LaPorte County, and into Illinois.

Markets expanded to new construction, 1st Time Buyers, Move Up Buyers, and Luxury Homes.

Success breeds success, and soon Executive Group earned the attention of Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network- the world's biggest real estate company.  

With the real estate tools and networking of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices behind the Executive Group, the team rebranded themselves as the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Executive Group. Valpo's once small listing agent now had a global real estate network - More data. More properties. More neighborhood information.

Nobody sells more homes globally than Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. With so many tools and networks to support their customers, Larry Hitz and the Executive Group Agents could focus on their passion....
