I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I spent summers at our family cottage on Gull Lake before permanently moving to the Richland/Gull Lake area 19 years ago. I earned a Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University and received a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Western Michigan University. I hold a license in school counseling and have been employed the last 14 years assisting students and parents with career planning, academic support, and college advising. I have coached tennis and volleyball at the middle and high school levels and taught religious education classes at my local parish. My husband, Eric, and I have three children who are actively involved in sports and community service. For the last 22 years, Eric has owned and operated The Landscape Company which services many homes and businesses in the Gull Lake area. In our free time, our family spends time making memories on the water and on the ski slopes.
