Relocation Department
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Woodmont Realty’s Relocation Department was founded in June 2002 when Woodmont Realty Group, Inc. affiliated with the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network of brokers. Since that time, the department has closed well over $500,000,000 in business volume, representing over 2,000 transactions. In 2011 alone, the department worked with over 30 individual relocation management companies which represented over 65 individual corporate clients.
The relocation department also generates business from Broker to Broker referrals, inside and outside of our network. In 2011 we helped over 50 individual brokerage firms and their buyers and sellers make smart home decisions.
The relocation department existence is two-fold. First, we support relocating people in and out of the Middle Tennessee area. Second, we support or certified team of relocation trained real estate professionals in their efforts of supporting people find and sell homes in the marketplace.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Woodmont Realty’s Relocation Services is supported by an extensive relocation team. Our Vice President of Relocation and Business Development is Tonya Hamilton. She has her B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Auburn University and a M.B.A from Cumberland University. Tonya has her CRP and GMS designations from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council as well as serves on their Board.
Some of the awards under her direction include the North American Group Move Support Award, Inventory Performance Awards, Incoming Broker-to-Broker Performance Award, Highest Year over Year Growth Total Units and Top Lender Conversion Rate Award. In 2007 Tonya was named Prudential Relocation’s Corporate Services Director of the Year and in 2009 she was selected as one of Nashville Business Journal’s Top Forty Under 40.
Tonya served as the 2012 Chairman of the YP40 Committee, is on the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Relocation Advisory Council, is a mentor for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Relocation and serves on the Relocation Directors Council Board as Vice President.
